Issue with 3G

I jailbroke my 3G that I'm trying to sell. Everything was working great, than 2 days later I went to clear and erase everything. It froze on the silver apple screen. Now i'm screwed because itunes wants to update it which will screw me. I need to to be unlocked to be work anything.

I got the ECID out of it than downloaded tinyumbrella but I can't get it to work. It open but won't let me enter any thing in te blanks. If I clock manual ECID and enter everything, than click create custom device nothing happens. Please help me, I really need the money from this. What am I doing wrong and what can I do differently?

Not a problem, you need to restore again. Do you want to restore to 3.1.3 ?

I am going to bed soon so this is the instruction :
Put your iphone into recovery mode : Turn off your iphone, while holding the Home Button, plug your iphone in until Itunes Cable logo comes on.
Now do the Shift key + Restore( Itunes ) to 3.1.3 ipsw which you have to download
Error 1015 may or maynot pop up, if it does, use kick out of recovery from Tiny Umbrella.
Now you are at Emergency Screen.
If you have the official sim, go ahead and put it in.
If you don't have it, then you can go ahead and jailbreak with Redsn0w 0.9.4 but point to 3.1.2 ipsw
It will hactivate and jailbreak for you.
That is it.

It won't even go to a restore screen. I just says if I want to upgrade click on.

Close the box, and put your iphone into recovery mode, a check box will open and say " itunes must check the iphone software update server to identify this device.", you click check.
Then another box will open " iTunes has detected iphone in recovery mode " click OK.
Now you do the shift + Restore to 3.1.3

I tried that. It says iPhone could not be restored. An unknown error occured (1015).

Now what?

Yeow202..... Nice job, for helpin twoksir out. Mine was a diff problem but I've fixed it now. I'll like to share my exp. so others may learn. I mistakly ran the limera1n on my ios 3.1.2 while my iPhone wax pluged. N d next tin on my screen was the iTunes logo connecting to cable. Then what I did was I ran blackra1n again on it, n all my data came back n notin wax deleted, only dat my Bluetooth wouldn't on. I'd appreciate if any one have a solution

I think you have to do a restore and rejailbreak again. Sync your iphone with Itunes first and do your restore.
