Jailbreak 4.1 for 3Gs?

I'm getting my new or refurbished iPhone because I sent my previous one to Apple and they decided to send me one. When the iPhone comes, will it be updated to 4.1 already? If so, will I be able to jailbreak it? And which jailbreak should I use?

It's been a while since I last jailbroke so I don't remember what to do. I remember changing root password and important cydia apps but don't know how to get shsh

You get SHSHs by clicking "Make my life easier" in Cydia when you run it for the first time on a newly jailbroken device. Then they are stored on Cydia's server and you can request them with TinyUmbrella.

Since you are getting a new device you won't be able to use your old SHSHs.

Just download greenpoison and follow the simple instructions to jailbreak. Then after that you can change the root and mobile passwords.

I used LimeRa1n just the other day on my 3GS with 4.1...... Not 1 issue.

Ok, so just to make sure, I am able to jailbreak factory refurbished iPhone 3gs that has never been previously jailbroken that is on 4.1?

Yes. I'll guarantee it. I used Limera1n ( the latest version off limera1n official site) and Jailbroke my 3GS with 4.1 running on new bootrom. Never been previously JB or anything. No bugs, everything still works just as before.

either limera1n, greenpois0n, or pwnagetool 4.1.2 will work
