Is it worth it to Jailbreak the 4.1

Don't laugh....... I been using the 1st gen iphone up in to now and took the plunge and got my hands on the 3GS. Have to admit... it is a very beautiful phone.

I am totally capable of unlocking/ jailbreaking but since i got the new, out of the box 3gs.... is it worth it to perform the jailbreak without causing any internal issue with the phones performance ??

Are there major issues people are running into such as battery drainage and such?

Im in Canada, the phone is unlocked here, all i have to do is jailbreak the puppy.

The only thing I really like about jailbreaking it, are the Themes. I LOOOOOVE THEMES.

SO... can someone just throw me some advice/ opinion on this? I would greatly appreciate it.

Worth it

Why? Too many things. Do it and you'll see why. You won't damage anything internal. Worst is you'll have to restore.

okay, friday night jailbreak off to a slow start....

After i get into DFU mode > open iTunes > alt + restore i get the following error message:

"The iphone iphone could not be restored the firmware is not compatible"

What gives... i tried it twice now -- nothing. I feel like an idiot cause i've done this a hundred times previously.

I have the latest version of iTunes 10.0.1 (22) whatever it is... could this be the issue?

I have 3gs version 4.1 (8B117)
