You have to activate the phone in iTunes first before you jailbreak. If you hactivate and you're on an official carrier then you'll never get service. Restore in iTunes.. then activate.. then jailbreak.

If you have restored to official 4.1, your baseband is already updated so no unlock tool is available yet at this baseband ( 05.14.xx or 02.10.xx )

It was the Limera1n tool, I followed all steps, first I totally restored via Itunes, then installed Jailbreak. Everything worked perfectlly in regards to the jailbreak etc....

But it constantly says "No Service"

So your saying to do a total restore, then do something else before jailbreaking???

Thank you, much appreciated for your responses....

they are saying that once the restore is complete leave it plugged into iTunes until the phone says that it is activated, once that is done then do the jailbreak

Essentially, activating the phone in iTunes right after the restore will get you carrier service/signal bars. That way, you won't come up without service cuz you'll be running the jailbreak AFTER activating.
