Help 3gs 4.0 05.13.04 need JB

Hello all I need help I got a used 3gs as it set's 4.0 05.13.04firm.. it's locked/ in emergency call only says insert valid sim with no pin lock to activate.. I JB my 2g that was the same way with redsnow/firmware.. well i get error's when I try on my 3gs, It says cant read ipsw I tried adding .ipsw,downloading 4.0firm from other sites,tried blackrain get error's .. how do i JB this phone while not activated ? ? ? can I get an atnt sim card go to jb/me n do it? all info will help..

You have to activate with valid sim and then jailbreak with jailbreakme
