JB a 2g on 3.1.3 with a broken power button

Hi, I have a iPhone 2g that I'd like to Jailbreak, but the power button has stopped working.

I'm familiar with using Pwnage but have no way to get the phone into recovery and DFU without the power button.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to a way forward?

BTW- I have recboot if I need to use that to get into recovery mode, but I've no idea on such an app for DFU, plus I've no idea if these apps can be used in conjunction with jailbreaking.

Also, worth mentioning i'm on OSX, not Windows.

With my 2g if you speeze the corner the buttons so you can sometimes get it to work!
