Last week I updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 4.1 with greenpois0n (RC3). Afterward I noticed that about 10-20% of the time, when I push the home button the iPhone does not behave as it should.
For example, sometimes I push the home button once to close an app, and the app switcher opens instead. Sometimes I push the home button once and nothing happens at all. Sometimes I push the home button twice to open the app switcher, and the app closes instead.
As I said, this occurs about 10-20% of the time. When I was on 4.0.1 this occurred every once in a while, but not often enough to think of it as a problem.
So now I'm trying to figure out if the problem is with the (1) jailbreak, (2) if it's with 4.1, or (3)if it's a problem with the iPhone hardware.
Never heard of this problem, most likely sounds like a faulty home button.
Do you need an unlock for the phone? If not just restore to stock 4.1 to remove the jailbreak, take it to an Apple Store, get a replacement and re-jailbreak on 4.1, just do it before 4.2 comes out
