That is incorrect, Limera1n and greenpois0n jailbreak almost all devices. It is not the shatter exploit that was used, that was the A4 only jb. It was the limera1n by geohot that was used, this jbs almost all devices, and it will work on 4.1.0

You can use Limera1n and / or Greenpois0n to jailbreak on 4.0.1 unless you have a 3g then you would use redsn0w or jbme.com or redsn0w + sn0wbreeze for a custom ipsw.

That's weird... I tried GP in a 4.0.2 ip4 and it wouldn't work. I used LR instead and it worked flawlessly.

BTW, thanx for clearing up the 'A4' device issue! I didn't know that using the LR exploit opened up GP. I'm glad to hear GP is for all devices now!

if you are trying to jailbreak 4.1 then use either greenpois0n or limera1n, if you are trying to jailbreak 4.0.1 then use limera1n
