    Default Updating iphone 3gs 3.1.3 to 4.1 - can it be done?

    I have an iphone 3gs ios 3.1.3 (baseband 05.12.01)

    It was jailbroken with jailbreakme.

    What steps should I take to update / upgrade to ios4.1 without losing my apps and my jailbreak? Can it be done?

    If you are not worried about unlocking then just upgrade to 4.1 and use greenpois0n to jb it. You will have to restore all your jb apps and settings afterwards.
