3Gs 4.1 OS Clarification

Okay guys, I know this has probably (already) been beaten into the ground..but I am having some troubles.

I discovered that we have a working Jailbreak for 4.1, today, so I backed-up my 3.1.3 and off I went!


After many restores, I am finally on 4.1 However, in attempting to jailbreak it with Limera1n I am failing miserably.

I've gone through the very well built, very easy tutorial and after my phone reboots, I do not have the Limera1n icon on my springboard.


I have a PC, but decided to try this on my mac. Again, I am on 4.1 and my firmware is 5.14.02



What am I missing?
