Some jailbreak/Unlock advice needed

Hi folks

I have owned a 3GS and now an iphone 4, getting bored so want to jailbreak to see what all the fuss is about

1. I have never jailbreaked my iphone before

2. Which is the best jailbreak for 4.1

3. Dont need to unlock at the minute, but i will when i plan to visit the states, will that be possible by then??

limera1n will also do the trick. As for unlocking, there won't be an unlock out until at least mid-late November and that's a best case scenario.
