If I restore do I lost JB/Unlock?
I have 4.0.2 jailbroken and unlocked with limerain and ultrasnow.
My 3gs is however after crashing and is in a permanent state of rebooting! If I restore do I lose jailbreak and unlock? will I have to restore in recovery/DFU mode?
More importantly if I restore will itunes update me to 4.1 and the latest baseband? I have shshs saved for 4.0.2 (Is this useless?)
Ive done a lot of searching for this and would love if someone could answer.... I really need the unlock.

use TU and restore and yes it will save baseband and update you to 4.1...The link is somewhere here in the forums on the correct way to do it...
make sure you save your blobs

yes you are correct, it only preserves the baseband of the iPhone 4, read the last part of my post above yours

So what I gather If I restore either way Im going to be updating my baseband and losing my unlock? If I restore with no internet connection how can itunes possibly upgrade though? Sorry im not super good at these things...

yes you will update you baseband when you restore, as far a no internet i'm pretty sure the update will fail because itunes will try to contact apple to verify the restore and if it can't it will fail.....
In the end we're all just chalk lines on the concrete, drawn only to be washed away. For the time that I've been given, I am what I am.
