Avoiding breaking jb and keeping cydia clean?

I just used limera1n to jb 4.1 on iphone 4 and it broke. How are people finding this beta jb?

Also when i ad sources to cydia i always get so many errors. Any ideas to keep cydia clean? And any ideas to avoid breaking jb again?

Tell us how it broke and we might be able to troubleshoot.

The errors when adding sources might be due to the load as everyone is jailbreaking and loading tons of apps. Are they server timeouts?

Well i jbed with pinkra1n or wteva it is for 4.1 (the new one) then installed cydia from it. Then reinstalled cydia again and that lost all my packages. Host unreachable when adding sources and other errors but sometimes even with errors the source still ads

Sorry I have no idea what you're having problems with. Why did you reinstall cydia after it was already there?

Host unreachable when adding sources has nothing to do with Cydia. Are you sure you typed the repo in correctly? Do you have an accurate address?

You could always restore fresh and jailbreak again, to see if that fixes it.

Ive done that 3 times. Can u pls give some sources you are using that you know are active.

Nice attitude. Look through your posts. You blame everything before looking at what you did yourself. Tools and apps get an undeserved bad reputation because of posts like that.

Yea but that wasnt my main problem. It was when i re jailbroke cydia just keeps giving errors when ading sources

I believe it's from installing Cydia twice. That will sometimes mess up the sources. My advice would be to restore and rejailbreak.
