Are your instructions in this thread how you were able to activate, unlock, and keep youtube (and avoid any other issues)? I'm using mxtube till I hear of a patch for youtube, but if you know something I don't I might try my luck and restore with sn0wbreeze again.

All of those to fix youtube will not work, you need to activate it with a sim card to get all the cert from Apple.

So go ahead and create another one , do the restore again.

Got hung up with the Braves Giants game last night and didn't have time to try again. The phone worked with calls and texts so I figured id just leave it and try again today as I needed the phone for work and didn't want to screw anything up last night ha! Thanks for the help I think I have it figured out on what to do. One question, to you or anyone else who knows. How long after I do this and put the ATT SIM in do I need to leave it? Should I make calls/text/try youtube, emails anything to trigger what needs to happen or just stick it in and pull it out?!

Once you put your Atnt sim in, you can either power on / off or pull the cable and plug it back to ITunes.

Okay inserted ATT SIM phone is activated. Switching back to Tmobile anything I need to do or will it be unlocked already. This is the last try on 4.1 so I wanna do it right. If this doesnt work (i can live without youtube) ill just switch back to 3.1.3

Also when i made the custom ipsw I checked the batt % box but it isnt showing the % is this something I change in settings?

That is it as far as unlock is concerned. You can install the neccessary stuff from the featured column on the front page of Cydia.

Im getting a lot of "timed out" errors unable to connect to host blah blah, in Cydia using wifi is this related? App store works perfect
