Quick jailbreaking question...

So I'm getting ready to use geo's new jailbreak but was curious if there were things that I needed to download from Cydia to get me started after the jailbreak? If I recall, in previous jailbreaks things like sbsettings, winterboard, etc downloaded automatically when you jailbroke your phone (or maybe I'm wrong?) so I wanted to get the basics downloaded so that I can do basic things to get me started (so I can customize my phone, etc.)

It's been a couple of years since I last jailbroke so I really don't remember much.

yes there is.
I used tiny umbrella to back up the baseband to use a unlock tool.
Then updated to 4.1 used limerain installed ultrasn0w and all works..

Iam really sorry but am still new to iPhone and I really can't understand these technical steps, could you please do me a favour and send me the step by step so I can jailbreak? I am really sorry but as I told u Iam new to iPhone! Btw I have tiny umbrella and iTunes 10.1

Well do you need the unlock?, also it may be wise to wait alittle till Limera1n is less buggy, but still its upto you, I haven't had a iPhone for about 1 month, so I'm alittle low on advise lol

If you don't need unlock, just restore your iphone 4 to 4.1 and go to Limera1n website to do the jailbreak.
