I'm a real newbie when it comes to jailbreaking. i have a 3GS with the 4.1 OS and want to know if I can jailbreak with Limera1n and what r the steps i need to follow or is there a detailed installation guide somewhere i can read? do i have to install it with my phone connected to my pc and do i have to have the latest edition of iTunes on my pc when i do this as well? please, any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Update Itunes to the latest.
You have to connect iphone to pc.
You have to restore to 4.1 first.
Make sure you sync your iphone with Itunes first.
I have not used Limera1n, but I think it is not that difficult to use, just download the latest version of Limera1n.

Limera1n works on all iOS 4 versions. The instructions are within the program so you just follow them as the program goes through the jailbreaking process.
