    Default 3G. Save Baseband. Update to 4.1

    hello.

    i have an iPhone 3G. i was wondering if it's possible to preserve my baseband while updating to iOS4.1. then jailbreaking it with redsn0w or some other tool and unlocking my saved baseband?

    Yes , you can preserve your baseband by restoring to custom firmware of 4.1
