How to disable Multitask on 3gs on IOS 4.1

Does anyone know how to disable Multitask for 3gs on IOS 4.1. The one on Cydia crashes and go into safe mode and is only for 4.o. It has not been ported yet. It is been draining my battery too much. I am currently using Multiflow and Backgrounder.

You can do it through pwnage, but it would also disable homescreen wallpaper and battery percentage.

So it diables all of those you mentioned altogether in pwnage tools.

Snowbreeze doesn't allow 3gs to disable multitask , no option, so comfirmed cannot be done.

Only pwnagetool for 3G allows multitasking disable. Correct me if I am wrong.

There are packages in cydia to disable multitasking but only iPhone 4 has a 4.1 package on there I had the package from 4.0 for 3GS installed and it worked great

You can do it via SSH. Just go into the springboard.app folder, open N88AP and change the multitasking key from "true" to "false"

Are you sure that Backgrounder isn't the source of your battery drain issues?

Actually I found a cydia packagethat works. Add repo source xsellize and add disable multitasking 4.x. I am on. A 3GS 4.1 JB/hacktivated let me know if this helped ya! Ciao!
