ok so now we got another new one, but
if redsnow jb's 4.1. and 4.0 is it not doing 4.0.2 ?
on the 3g ?
amd i assume all the 3gs users are still screwed no matter what unless blobs are saved right ?

The three 4.0 firmwares are so close to each other that the 4.0 IPSW in conjunction with redsn0w should jailbreak any of the three 4.0.x firmwares.

You would be correct in regards to the 3GS unfortunately. Blobs are needed to get anywhere* on those devices.

*with some exceptions--but an iBoot exploit is needed first, and those are pretty damn rare.
