Default iPhone 3G: Upgrade to 4.1 worth it?
I'm currently on an iPhone 3G with 3.1.3 unlocked on T-Mobile. I'm debating on updating to 4.1 via Pwnagetool so I can keep my baseband. I plan on disabling multitasking, home wallpaper and all that so that the lag will be reduced.

Is the upgrade worth it? I've heard 4.1 is only a tad slower than 3.1.3 so do you think the upgrade is worth it, given I won't have multitasking and all that?

Two videos to look at. First, 4.0 vs 3.1.3 on a 3G:

    and next, 4.0 vs 4.1, also on a 3G:
