Default November iOS Update with AirPlay

Hi. I'm wondering if Jailbreak authors typically come up with features to mimic or improve on Apple iOS Updates?

In particular I'm interested in the upcoming AirPlay functionality. I'm wondering if I will definitely need to Restore my iPhone 4 to the latest iOS version (in November) in order to have this AirPlay type functionality on my iPhone 4 to Apple TV Second Gen.?

I really move my jailbreak, but the AirPlay feature is a must-have for me. Are developers likely to provide this functionality or will I need to Restore, update and then later jailbreak again?

You will likely need to restore. The good news is that the jailbreak will possibly™ be available from pwnagetool so all you will need to do, is make a pre-jailbroken custom firmware and then restore to that. That'll leave you with a sparkling new jailbroken phone on 4.2.
