I recently had a jailbroken 3gs which I lost..I have my shsh blobs saved on cydia for that phone which I lost..So I went out and I bought me an Iphone 4 from the apple store..It is on Version 4.0.2, it came like that right out of the store..Now I know thats not the newest version. So what I was hoping since its not the newest version was that I can jailbreak it..Can it be done?? Also does having my shsh blobs saved from my 3gs help me out at all?? So is there any way? Even downgrading if I have to??
I hope the info I provided above I can get some answers on maybe jailbreaking my new Iphone 4
Thanks

Blobs will do you no good, at the present time ip4 w/ 4.0.2 can't be jailbroken, but soon.
4.0 and 4.0.1 can be jailbroken by jailbreakme.com though, I know it does you no good but just general info.
I just read the article, Redmond is reputable so I would say what that heck, go for it, you can always restore.
Use Tiny Umbrella to save your blobs as I said. The Firmware Umbrella before you do anything.
Edit, well I totally believe what yeow has to say about it, he is the jailbreak guru.
