    Default 3.1.2 jailbreak to 4.0.2
I've tried seraching the forums and have not been able to find the right answer to what I am trying to do.

Currently have a Iphone 3GS 3.1.2 jailbroke by blackra1n. Running cydia and have numerous apps & themes downloaded.

Would like to upgrade to the 4.0 IOS platform. I think I have the blobs saved by Cydia (SHSH in green at the top of cydia goes up to 4.0.2).

Question: I am sure i can upgrade to 4.0.2. Will I be able to keep any themes & paid apps from cydia when I do this? Also, should I just wait until a 4.1 jailbreak comes out?

If I do upgrade to 4.0.2 is it going to be difficult to upgrade to 4.1 when it is available?

    Thanks in advance.

here are a couple of guides depending on which OS you are using

How to Jailbreak iPhone 3GS to 4.0 with PwnageTool | OS X

How to Jailbreak iPhone 3GS to 4.0 with Sn0wbreeze | Windows

and to answer your questions, yes you will be able to get your already paid for apps from cydia and no it will not be hard to update to 4.1 once the jailbreak is released
