iphone 4 unlocked , but stuck at password screen help

had a guy bring me a iphone 4, he doesnt wanna restore cause he has it unlocked and jailbroken.
how can i get around the password lock screen without doing a restore, thanks all

If you don't know the password, the only option is to restore.

well iv been reading about file explorers, like ifunbox and iphone browser, and iv tried them all to delete the password thread but none will access the iphone 4 for some reason

If the phone does not have afc2add installed, you cannot use iFunBox, iPhoneBrowser, or DiskAid to access root files.

WinSCP is the only way to access root files then via SSH. I've seen people try removing the passcode lock and it's all unsuccessful. They've always resolved in a restore. But you can still try

ok the guys tells me when he bought the phone he saw that it had 4.0.1 on it, then when he left passcode screen poped up and he doesnt know the code.
itryed doing a restore with 4.0.1 and get error 3194.
so how can i restore this back to 4.0.1 blobs im sure werent saved
