    Default Iphone 3G 3.0.1 upgrade?

    I have an Iphone 3G running 3.0.1 if i have downloaded firmware, say, 3.1.3 is there a way i can upgrade to that? or do i have to use itunes and get stuck with 4.1? i also have another iphone 3G that has been my ginniea pig, ive upgraded, downgraded and have several firmware on file. are the firmware i have on file only good for restore of the current firmware on specific iphone? any help appreciated...

    iPhone 3G does not need SHSH for firmware before 4.0, so you can put in dfu and restore to 3.1.3 no problem. SHSH is device specific so any you haved saved for your other iPhone will not work.
