Restoring and need basic help
I have my iphone 4 running 4.0.1 and its jailbroken of course. Lately i have been experiencing problems so i wanted to restore it to my factory settings. The issue with that is that my factoey settings are 4.0.0 and if i update with itunes i wknt be able to ipgrade to 4.0.1
What can ido? How do i save all the info and format and upgrade to 40.1 instead of 4.1 so i can jailbreak?
Also does jailbreakme.com work anymore?

did you click the "make my life easier" button in cydia to save your shsh's, if you did and have shsh's for 4.0.1 you can use this guide to restore and rejailbreak once the restore is done...the guide is for a 3gs restore to 3.1.2 but the steps are the same for your phone
