Jailbreak Firmware 4

Hi all,

I have a iPhone 3G running firmware 3.1.2 (7d11) and it is jailbroken. I would like to update to the newest firmware as I am increasingy discovering apps that wont run on a firmware so old. Alot of my friends have used the jailbreakme.com portal to update to the latest firmware and jailbreak in one easy move. However, I rely on my iPhone being carrier unlocked also. Is there anyway around this? can I update to the latest firmware, jaibreak and carrier unlock? Any help would be greatly appreciated

jailbreak with redsn0w version 0.9.4 i do believe, ill look it up and then i will edit my post, and then download sn0wbreeze and make a cumstom firmware and then upgrade to the custom firmware and you will be able to unlock since it does not upgrade the baseband..... i hope this helps


EDIT: 0.9.3 i guess 0.9.4 is for 3.1.3 i guess
