New iPhone 3G 3.1.3 Bootloader 5.09 help please!

Hey guys, I just received a new iPhone today with versions:

iPhone 3G OS Version 3.1.3
Bootloader 5.09
Baseband 5.12.01

I havent jailbroken/unlocked an iPhone in a longgg time, and was wondering what was the best way to go about unlocking my new iPhone. I have tried jailbreaking through jailbreakme.com and installing ultrasn0w through Cydia. I reboot the phone and I have T-Mobile bars showing, but I am locked out of the phone.

Any help would be appreciated!

Don't quite understand what you are saying. You have unlocked and T-mobile is shown but you said " locked out of the phone " what does that mean ?

It said I did not have the correct SIM card, and was only able to make emergency phone calls. Anyway I finally got it after a few hours of trying the different jailbreaks.
