hello Guys ,


well im kinda confused , should i update ( using the tinyumbrella method) my OOB Locked 4.0.2 Iphone 4 ? and wait for the jailbreak and unlock with ultrasn0w ?

or wait until the jailbreak is out and do it from there ?

i know for a fact the Dev Team wont jailbreak 4.0.2 , but im kinda afraid that the jailbreak to 4.1

might ask your device to be on 4.0.2 ?

and im also kinda confused is , will the TSS server method( AKA " Tiny umbrella method of preserving baseband while updating(restoring) to 4.1") work once the jailbreak for 4.1 is out ? or will it say too late since it depends on the whole SHSH signatures from apple ?

Yes the TU TSS will allow you to upgrade and preserve your baseband. You don't want to do a standard upgrade to 4.1 or you'll lose unlockability.

You can go ahead with the upgrade with TU if you want. Wouldn't hurt to stay on 4.0.2 either for now.

I just wanted to add that 4.1 does nothing but add the PDF exploit patch which you can get from Cydia anyway.
