Selling my 3GS ..need to delate personnal but maintain JB .

Hi,
I am in the process of selling my 3GS 32gb Factory unlocked (4.0.1)

Thing is the buyer wants me to leave the jailbreak intact and any Apps i have .

Is there a way to wipe all my personal data (contacts , email accounts , passwords , appstore data , facebook etc etc ) and still maintain the firmware jailbreak and Apps .

I have looked and looked and some suggestions are the 2 hoursdata wipe in settings , but i believe if jailbroken it wont work .

Also a iTunes restore will update firmware

All suggestion or links welcome

The best way is to restore fresh to 4.0.1, set up as a new phone and rejailbreak. Btw leaving your apps on the phone would mean leaving the phone linked to your app store id, which would be a bad idea.

cant you go to settings wipe data? you will most likely loose the apps thou.

Doing this on a jailbroken phone will get you stuck at the apple scree and cause you to have to restore anyway.
