iphone 3g password prompt , no password help

got a 3g in front of me.
guy dont hsve the password and doesnt know what firmware it had on it.
what the easiest way to get past the password screen without knowing the password

What password?

If it's got the passcode lock on then you can clear this by doing a restore.

Alternatively try this:
1.download and install iphone browser
2.connect iphone to computer
3.open your iphone browser and navigate to var folder
4.open var folder and navigate to keychains
5.open keychains folder and delete keychain-2.bd file

Never tried it myself, no guarantee!
