Thanks.

Nope, Backgrounder doesn't work on 4.1, I just used the Multiflow and the Multitask on OS 4.1, still waiting for backgrouder to be ported yet. Everything else works .

You can reinstall any programs that it wants to get rid of.
Mine was appcake and appsync. Reinstalled them and all is ok.
few days now of testing and still working great.
thx to panbit for finding the info so I could write the how-to.
....also... Backgrounder will show an update in cydia.
It's seeing the edit on the file and wants to reinstall..
DO NOT INSTALL TILL VERSION CHANGES FROM svn.r556-1
CHECK CHANGE LOG.
Other than having a false upgrade available it works great.
Just remember to make sure its really a new version before you update.

You don't really need backgrounder, I just used the Multiflow and the Multitask on IOS 4.1, works perfect, just close whatever you opened.

Disagree
Backgrounder saves you the trouble of having to do that by automating the process for you. That, coupled with the fact that Backgrounder provides genuine backgrounding, and not simply a frozen state of the app, and I believe Backgrounder to be far superior to the stock multitasking from Apple. Apps like Cydia and others won't actually stay running with the stock multitasking, Backgrounder is the only way to get them to stay in the background exactly as you left them. To each his own, I suppose, but I strongly disagree that the iOS multitasking is just as good.

My experience is enabling native multi-tasking on the 3G slows it to a grind. Plus as said above, it seems to be random as to which apps "background" and in what state they remain. I think it's a classic case of over complicating some simple to try to enhance it, and buggering it up in the process!
Backgrounder on the other hand is nice and simple, doesn't try to be clever and does exactly what it says on the tin.
I hope Backgrounder is updated soon, it's the only reason I JB.

I am hoping for it too, it is possible that it may never be ported again, I maybe wrong. When I tried to install backgrounder, whole bunch of conflicts popped up.

New Version is on Cydia. Make sure you uninstall the old version first if you used the tweak.
New Version is r558-1
