Iphone 3gs 16gb old bootroom ios 3.0 how to update to 4.0.1?

Bump. I have a 3gs at ios 3.0 old bootroom and right now I can`t get umbrella to find me the 4.0.1 update.

Probably because 3.0 is to old.

Is there another way I can update to 4.0.1 without the shsh from umbrella?

If you have jailbroken your phone on 3.0 you can restore to a custom firmware of any version you'd like.
