Where is the IPSW file in the ZIP FOLDER?

I have downloaded the firmware from several different places. Everytime I download and extract the ZIP, the only thing that I see that is firmware is the folder inside the zip. Where is the actual .ipsw file?

Please help, I am going INSANE...

what you are downloading is the ipsw, do not extract the contents, just change it from a .zip to .ipsw, next time use either chrome, firefox, or opera to download an ipsw file, do not use Internet Explorer or safari

I have downgraded myfirmware to 3.1.3, jailbroken and unlocked. I also did the ultrasnow for the unlock. My signal just says "Searching". Do you know what that is about? I cant get a signal now.

If you downgraded from 4.1 then you can't unlock. The baseband was upgraded.

Are they creating somthing that will possibly fix that? I am stuck with the 05.14.02 baseband.

Not really sure, might be a month or two from now before a new unlock for the new basebands.

There is no way to downgrade the current baseband?

Not for the new baseband, no. Maybe in the future if you have a 3G with bootloader 5.08. If you don't even have bootloader 5.08, chances are there is no baseband downgrader.
