downgrading and jbing iphone 4

ok so ive done my research on this and there are conflicting therories. basicly, i have just accidentally upgraded to 4.1 from 4.01 due to cydia crashing. my question is can i downgrade again to 4.01? ive asked cydia for my ssh blobs in tiny. tells me im outa luck? can i have someone send me the .shsh file and put it in the directory? is there ANY way to downgrade to 4.01 or jb 4.1?

sounds like u dont have any shsh blobs saved unless u have 4.0 saved but if u dont ur screwed like me i got my iphone with 4.0.2 (bought it like 2 days after 4.0.2 came out)

the big hole in that system is tinyumbrella and saurik's server saving shsh's if you tell it to

I ment a way 2 freely downgrade without ever saving shsh blobs

at least on new bootrom devices I believe it's hardware related so there probably isn't a "loophole" to bypass it

Had YOU clicked make my life easier in Cydia your shsh for 4.0.1 would have been saved and you could downgrade after screwing up and updating to a KNOWN currently un-jailbreakable firmware.

I was smart enough to click make my life easier in Cydia as well as backing it up with umbrella. I have my SHSH backed up and can downgrade if needed.

Also I don't accidentally upgrade my firmware when I know there is no current jailbreak.
