Jailbreak ios 4.1 on 3GS not NOT jailbroken

I have a 3GS that was jailbroken on ios 4.0.1 and had a problem making me have to restore with iTunes. I was wondering if it's posable to jailbreak my iPhone that is on 4.1. Before the inevitable question comes, no I don't have my shsh file. For some reason (they were backed up) cydia doesn't have them.

I have old bootrom.

Is it on 4.0.1 or 4.1, and how come you don't have 4.0.1 shsh blogs? At the time when you jailbreak at 4.0.1, was apple still signing the 4.0.1.

On 4.1. I have no clue why I can't get them.

So you just want to downgrade and jailbreak, you cannot unlock the 4.1 baseband.

I can't downgrade and I use an official carrier (Rogers)

Plug your phone in
Click Advance Tab
Device/ Version Select 4.0.1 shsh blogs for 3gs
Click save shsh
Wait for answer
Tell me what it say.

I've done that several times. It comes up saying that it can't find the shsh files.

Then you can't, but you can now save your 4.1 shsh blogs with Cydia and wait for a new jailbreak. You can still use the phone cos you are with the official carrier.
