Error restoring 3GS to 3.1.2

My iPhone kind-of died a couple of days ago, so after trying everything, I decided to restore (or format) it.

I downloaded the 3.1.2 firmware and did the Shift + Restore thing on iTunes. I keep getting error 3104.

Do you have your SHSHs?

I always see the "SHSHs on file" message on Rock/Cydia, so I think I do.

Pull them into your computer with TinyUmbrella. Select advanced options in TU and select "your device+firmware" (firmware that you want to restore to). The log should tell you it is successful if you do have the SHSHs. For instance if you want 3.1.2, select "iPhone 3GS 3.1.2". If you don't have 3.1.2 saved, try the same procedure with 3.1.3, 4.0, and 4.0.1 to see if you have any. Any of those will be fine to restore to and jb.

Thanks for the answer. It seems like I never requested the blobs from Cydia. And TinyUmbrella isn't detecting any from Cydia or Apple.

I never really used Cydia - most of the time, I downloaded apps with Rock. Does that make a difference?

So, anybody know how I can restore my iPhone to 3.1.2?
