Help Me OMG i love you guys
Ok here goes nothing
I have a 8gb 3gs UNLOCKED T-MOBILE iphone, Jail Broken 3.1.2 Firmware
i love it, it works great!!
But i put a pass code on it and and i forgot the pass code, so i guess i disabled it
it says
" iphone disabled, connect to itunes "
I KNOW I CAN FIX THIS By ~ just restoring it.
but the problem is, i paid 30 bucks to get it unlocked and jailbroken, so if i restore it all my **** is gonna be gone and its not gonna be on T-MOBILE
PLEASE HELP I LOVE YOU GUYS
I LOVE YOU!!! PLEASE ;'(

You need shsh blogs for all restore. Do you know if you have shsh files. Do you remember seeing the green letters on top of Cydia front page.

Nevermind, this is what you do to find out.
Download Tiny Umbrella version 4.1.4
Plug in your iphone in a bootable state so TU will recognize it.
Click Advanced option
Device : Select 3gs 4.0.1 shsh
Request from: Cydia.
Click Save shsh
Wait for answer : If yes
Then put your iphone into Recovery mode
Start tss server
Do the shift + restore to 4.0.1
You can do the same process again for 3.1.2 if you have 3.1.2 shsh blogs with Cydia.
The catch here is when using Tss Server, your shsh blogs must be saved in TU, click Display shsh to find out after grabing from Cydia.
Remember to hit Thanks button ..

Next time don't pay $30 for this stuff. It's supposed to be free...or at least charged under $15.
You have a slight chance that you saved your SHSHs whether you know it or not. Download TinyUmbrella.
1) select advanced options
2) select your device+firmware you want to restore to (ie iPhone 3GS 3.1.2)
TU should tell you in the log below if it was successful or not in pulling the SHSHs to your computer (if they exist). Do this for firmware 3.1.2, 3.1.3, 4.0, and 4.0.1, to see if you have any of those saved. Those fw's are all able to JB and you can maintain your unlock. Do not upgrade to 4.1. Let me know what SHSHs you manage to get or if you couldn't get any.

If you have the SHSHs and you don't go hitting the upgrade button, then yes your unlock will be fine.

Once you have done the jailbreak, open up Cydia and install Ultrasn0w to unlock.

It will be easier to do this since you have a 3G. Go here http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/ to get 3.1.x if you want that. Do the shift-restore thing. After is finished load tiny umbrella and kick out of recovery. Download ultrasn0w from Cydia.
