sn0wbreeze and iphone 3g

i cant seem to jailbreak my iphone 3g with sn0wbreeze..... i have tried everyway possible and i cant get anyting to work..... i have made several different firmwares and i have tried normal mode, DFU mode, and recovery mode and none of them will work.....




can someone please help me!!!!????

What is your problem ? Bring it down to 3.1.3, run Redsn0w 0.9.4, then bring it back up to 4.1 with Snowbreeze.

After running Redsn0w jailbreak on 3.1.3, you should update Cydia first, only then put your iphone into recovery mode and restore to Snowbreeze 4.1 ipsw.

The latest version of Snowbreeze 2.0.2 is supposed to fix hactivation, 2.0.1 didn't hactivate for me but I have my valid sim with me, that wasn't an issue to me.

alrighty..... so after i jailbreak with the redsn0w, go into cydia and then update it and everything?

Yes, update Cydia to have all the recent files needed to restore properly with Snowbreeze.

welljust so you know for iphone 3G you dont need to restore to 3.1.3 and jailbreak just to get 4.1
in fact you dont even need it jailbroken
i have 2 iphone 3g 1 with old and one with new bootloader both where on 4.1 allready and of course it wasnt jailbroken

well i have downloaded two different 3.1.3 firmwares from here at modmyi and somewhere else..... neither of them would get recognized

What do you mean by not recognize, you have to browse to 3.1.2 when running redsn0w not 3.1.3 because 3.1.2 is close enough to 3.1.3
