Downgrading iphone4 4.01 8B117

So my jailbreak just broke. All cydia packages still existed but didnt load? So i restored and to no supprise it upgraded to latest version which was 4.01 bootrom 8B711. So my question is how do i downgrade without my SSH blobs? Ive tried sauriks server but it just keeps bringing up an error? Can i jailbreak 8B117 4.01 with other methods than jailbreakme. Any ideas

If you hit restore, you must now be at 4.1 correct, not 4.0.1

Did you jailbreak at 4.0.1 and save your shsh blogs.

Agreed, and 4.1 is not jailbreakable on 4.1 and as 4.1 updates baseband you may never be able to unlock...

Yes im on 4.1 so im screwed. No more jailbreaking?

Not if you have 4.0.1 shsh blogs, have you checked with Cydia yet.

No how do i do that? Can i do it if on no longer jailbroken and donr have cydia?

Yes, you can also save your shsh blogs with Cydia and stored it locally even though you are not jailbroken.
Download tiny umbrella.
Run Tiny Umbrella
Plug your iphone 4
It will recognize it
Click Advanced Tab
Device /Version : select iph 4 4.0.1 shsh blogs
Request : Cydia
Click Save shsh
Wait for answer
Click Display shsh to see
Do this on 4.0, 4.0.1 and 4.1

There is no jb for 4.1.

Depends on what model iPod Touch you have and if you have your SHSHs (if applicable) to downgrade first.

You can use this same method as i have described to others.
Download tiny umbrella version 4.1.4
Run Tiny Umbrella
Plug your ipod touch
It will recognize it
Click Advanced Tab
Device /Version : select ipod touch 4.0.1 shsh blogs
Request : Cydia
Click Save shsh
Wait for answer
Tell me what your answer.

I may have to go to bed now.

If your answer is Yes then
With the Device /version still at ipod 4.0.1 shsh
Put your ipod into DFU mode
Start Tiny Server
Do the shift + Restore to 4.0.1 ipsw
Let it restore.
If at the end of the restore , you get an error, try using
kick out of recovery from Tiny Umbrella. If no error, then you are good to go.
Good luck.

If the Answer is NO, then you have to wait for a new jailbreak.

This says you have saved your 4.1 SHSHs. You'll want to select 4.0.1 like Yeow said in advanced options. The log you just posted is for 4.1, you'll want to pull for 4.0.1.

It's not the same, it's device specific. You'll need SHSHs for your device.

What iPod do you have? If it's a 3G you can't use a 2G SHSH.
