    Default Jailbreak Q's (Noob)
Hi, sorry my first post has to be this one but I have some major confusion about jb'ing my 3GS.

I have an 8gig 3GS phone that I purchased in early July this year. I believe the first os was just 4.0. I sadly did the useless updates to 4.0.1 and 4.0.2 but then decided to do 4.1 and wait for a jb.

So now that redsn0w has just brought one out, I'm feeling very lost on how to go about jb'ing, if I even can.

I have not jailbroke this phone ever (obviously).

Is the jb possible with my phone? Also, I tried downloading f0recast to see and the download just kept flashing on my pc and never even opened.

Can you guy's please help a noob that's interested in jail breaking?!

I really appreciate the help and I'm sorry for bothering you guys with what is probably a very simple dilemma.

    Jon
