Hello Modmyi community,

I'm a first time jailbreaker,(i've jailbroke only several ipods only using spirit and blackra1n) I'm one of the few who made the retarded descion of upgrading to 4.0.2, I am on a Ipod touch 2generation looking for a downgrade or instructions on how to jailbreak it, i have tryed downgrading my ipod via instructions on youtube. i get the custom firmware from that felix dude and i do the shift + click restore button and i go into the file and nothing is there except for two files firmware and this gibberish ive searched both and both are empty. either i cant see the restore or im doing something wrong... any help would be greatly appreciated and i will rep you.

You have upgraded to Stock firmware 4.0.2.
Download Tiny Umbrella.
Plug your bootable Ipod into the pc.
Once tiny Umbrella recognizes your ECID, Select Advanced Option
Under Device/Version : select ipod 4.0.1 shsh file
Request : Cydia
Wait for Answer, if it says restoring to 4.0.1 will succeed, then you are in luck.
Now put your ipod into DFU mode
Start Tss Server
Do the Shift + Restore to 4.0.1 ipsw ( you have to download as well )
If the file downloaded is in .zip form, rename the .zip to .ipsw
It should restore to 4.0.1
Then jailbreak from Safari on your ipod by going to jailbreakme.com

EDIT: I've gotten all the way to the part when you finally click on the restore file .ipsw, but when i click on it it says 'This is not a compatible file'? Sorry im pretty sure if i get this part than im done.
