Can I downgrade from 4.0 to 3.1.3 on my 3g, jesus christ this is slow

I'm on 4.0 and want to go back to 3.1.3 thought my blobs were saved, looks like they're not.

If apple doesn't let us downgrade with such a **** OS that is complete BS.

Am I stuck on 4+ and screwed here or is there any way down?

Yes, you can downgrade your 3G to 3.1.3, tools you need is :
Tiny Umbrella, Redsn0w 0.9.4, 3.1.2 ipsw and 3.1.3 ipsw.
Put your iphone into DFU mode
Do the Shift + Restore to 3.1.3
Error 1015 pops up : Use Tiny Umbrella to kick it out
Now you are at Emergency Screen.
Run Redsn0w and point to 3.1.2
You are all set.
