facing problems after re-jailbreak

I have iPhone 3G 8GB and I jailbreak my iPhone using redsn0w, and later I updated my iPhone to 4.1 and Cydia was gone, so I again jailbreak my phone using the same application and and the same method...after the jailbreak the green phone icon on the dock was gone and in setting, "phone" setting were not there anymore.....Cydia's icon was white.....what to do??

P.S.:- Ive restored(using itunes)my iPhone 2 times and now its running on iOS4.....

I can restore the phone back to the normal condition but how can I jailbreak it after the restore, without losing anything on the phone.....

Please help

There is only a mac version right now. Windows version should be coming soon. Sorry should have realized from your info you had windows.

cant I just restore my phone back to iOS4 but not to 4.1 then can I jailbreak it again??
or is there any other way?

With a stock firmware only if you have SHSH. You should be able to restore to a custom 4.0 though made with sn0wbreeze as long as you are jailbroken with redsn0w first (even the half working one).

You have already updated to 4.1 so your baseband has been upgraded meaning you cant unlock, even if you downgrade. As for your warranty, any jailbreak voids that, but it is nothing a regular restore cant fix.

Your only shot for unlock is downgrade and install fuzzyband from cydia. It will tell you if you have one of the first run 3g's that the baseband can be downgraded on.

Jailbreak your 3G 4.1 with Redsn0w 0.9.6 b1 , No unlock.

you said you are on 4.1 right?
Use redsn0w to jailbreak
Download sn0wbreeze (google it) and make a custom 4.0 firmware.
Shift click restore in itunes and choose that 4.0 custom firmware.
Once restored you will be jailbroken, go to cydia search for fuzzyband, download it then run it.

Fuzzyband will not downgrade the 4.1 baseband
Redsn0w is meant for Windows.

In other words, Funlove201, you can only jailbreak but you cannot unlock, it will be awhile before the next unlock comes out.

Nope, baseband cannot be downgraded once updated. You have to wait for a new unlock, sorry.

I downloaded sn0wbreeze and created custom 4.0 firmware for my iPhone and when I try to restore it using iTunes it gives me that error

You cannot use custom firmware if you are not jailbroken yet. This is one of the pre condition to use custom firmware.
Do a Hard Reset to get out , if it doesn't help use tiny umbrellla to kick it out of recovery.

Once you are out, if you are now at OS 4.1, go download Redsn0w 0.9.6b1 from here :

and do your jailbreak.
Once jailbroken, that is all for now, and use it as an Ipod Touch if you are not with the official carrier.
You will not be able to unlock no matter what you do. Hopefully, the Dev Team is working on an unlock, but never heard anything about it, possibly forever..

FunLove, if you want to use custom firmware , this is what you have to do :
Downgrade to 3.1.3 > Jailbreak with Redsn0w 0.9.4 > Create a custom firmware of IOS 4.0 by Snowbreeze 1.7 or Pwnage tools 4.0.1 > Restore to CFW.

You should be able to do the last part of what yeow202 said in his last post. Redsn0w 0.9.4 or 0.9.2 both have a windows version for 3.1.3. Just put your iphone in dfu then follow what he says.
