What problems with 4.1 Jailbreak on 3G?

I have iPhone 3G on 4.0.1 and Jailbroken, not unlocked. I want to upgrade to 4.1 and Jailbreak it. But i hear there is a Jailbreak out for 4.1 but it's only for a Mac. But im on Windows :/

I have heard from some people that, there are problems with 4.1 Jailbreak

Also i want to get my iPhone unlocked by carrier provider, will this be possible? Im in UK and on O2 network, so then cand do it for £15.

Wait until a updated pwnage tool or sn0wbreeze comes out to support 4.1 as they are the only tools that will preserve your baseband so that you can update and still unlock.
