2g picture messaging fix ???

ok i got a iphone 2g infront of me , jailbroken and unlocked but cant send or get pictures messages on tmobile.
how do i go about fixing this, thanks all
actually i got it now, but when setting up the cellular date settings for mms, it wont save the apn, but it saves rest of settings
