Default Help got a weird issue

Hi all, had my iphone 4 for 2 months now and its been j/b for about a month.

However lately it has been switching itself off very randomly, mainly if it aint used for a while eg. overnight, by the time i wake up its off?

i have foned vodafone and they said for me to send to them for repair. however before i do if i need to?... is there a way to backup all apps etc using any software?

or has anyone got an idea what my problem is? ive read somewhere that it can be hardware fault?

    thanks in advance peeps

They will be happy to give you a replacement. Not all iphones that leave the factory are perfect.
