    Default Restored iPhone Now Getting Error PLEASE HELP!

    hey i restored my iPhone now when i try and activate it with my ORIGINAL ATT simcard i keep getting the error "The sim card inserted in this iphone does not appear to be supported"
    i dont know what to do and i have been phone less for a couple days now as i can not get passed the activation screen. can anyone help me?

    Then your Iphone is not from the States, you can check your the carrier from the Model number from here :
    iPhone Carrier List – Model Numbers|TGIL, Inc
    If you have upgraded to 4.1 , you are locked out, there is no unlock at 4.1

    the thing is i bought it from Apple in Los Angeles with ATT service...

    That's very odd. I suggest taking it to Apple and asking wtf is going on if you are on legit service with AT&T and its not activating.

    Have you check your model number yet ?, I guess you can't see the model number at Emergency Screen. Do you have the original box .. ?

    I am in Canada, my iphone is from the states and model number is MC136LL

    Just take it to the apple store, they will fix it for you. If you have a non-modded Apply product with authorized sim, you are entitled to go into the apple store and leave with a working device.
