Help!!!

OK, I stupidly upgraded to 4.1 on my 3G. Why? I have no idea. But of course i lost my jailbreak. I've tried downgrading to 4.0 but I am having no luck with gettin it to work. Also, does anyone have any idea when a jailbreak will be available for 4.1? If its soon I might just put off downgrading and wait it out.

You'll need your SHSHs to downgrade to 4.0. If you don't have any SHSHs, simply downgrade to 3.1.2 and jailbreak with jailbreakme or redsn0w 0.9.3.

ok, so i downgraded to 3.1.2. Easy. One problem, i cant do a restore from my back up because itunes is saying my software is too old and i need to upgrade to newer software. WOW.

Yes, unfortunately that's the side effect of going from 4.x to 3.1.x. You won't be able to restore from back up of a 4.x to a 3.1.x.
