When i jailbroke my freinds ipod it went flat just after the jailbreak. now it wont turn on. iv tried docking it and syncing it but nothing works. any idea's

You have to restore to new using itunes.
Also there is no jailbreak out for the newest ipod touch yet, so whatever you tried will not work and therefore has messed up your software.
When doing a Hard Reset, you can turn it off, then while holding the Home Button, plug your iphone into it until the Itunes Cable logo comes on, then you can restore again but you might require shsh blogs. Let me know how it goes.
